The market opened higher today on the back of yesterday´s european stock markets hefty gains. The war rhetoric increased today causing the NDX-100 to return some early gains, closing 0.58% positive. Mr. Obama is lobbying for congress support on an attack on Syria which could come as early as Friday. Secretary Kerry mentioned that ‘Impunity Is Already Working to Kill a Lot of People and to Make Things More Dangerous’ for the U.S. On the business front, Microsoft announced that it will purchase Nokia´s handset unit for $7.2 billion sending the Nokia´s shares 31.28% positive. For the moment the market is expectant of an attack on Syria which could send the NDX-100 significantly lower.
